Chicken and Fresh Vegetable Stir-fry

Uncategorized

This is what I made last night for dinner!  It is my first meal with fresh vegetables from the garden.  It was simply fantastic even if the plate is Styrofoam.  The recipe was my own creation and included sugar snap peas, snow peas, bell pepper, mushrooms, and swiss chard.  All I did was saute it with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste.  I hope your dinner is/was as good as mine.

That looks delicious! My sugar snap peas are still a long way from getting pods, but I’m saving lots of last year’s frozen sweet peppers for a stir fry when I finally get a pea harvest. Home grown food just has such a wonderful taste. Store bought can’t compare.

I hope your lady bugs didn’t migrate to somebody else’s garden. I’ve heard they don’t always stay put where they are released.

Our favorite meals are simple stir fry’s that take the bounty of the garden and show case it! Your meal looks really scrumptious!

Hey a big crowd of ladybugs showed up in my garden last night! (Richard and I figured out we are only a few miles apart). Just kidding, but I did have 2 show up this weekend. They should be getting pretty fat by now.

My stir fry was really yummy too and looked just about like yours.

Elisa – Funny stuff! But that is the risk that I took. At least, they can find a good home in your garden. I’m glad you liked your stir fry.

KitsapFG – Absolutely! The meal just tastes 100% better because it’s both fresh and home grown. I’m looking forward to many more meals like this.

I just love making new recipes with what ever I have harvested from the garden. And it always is good and delicious!
This is no exception; it does look good and sounds even better!
